( he lets her adjust their positions without protest, could hardly ever object to being closer to her. he knows she's being gentle with him as if he's something fragile, and there's that street-kid part of him that rankles at it. but it's just... love, from korra, and he does his best to accept it from her instead of making everything worse the way he always does.
